Quality System Certification

Pentax operates within a Quality Management System according to UNI EN ISO 9001:2008.

The approach is interaction among the company’s processes, aiming at constant improvement:

Pentax chooses QUALITY as primary task and target, so that:

• Suppliers and raw materials used;
• Production process (granulation, syntherization, welding);
• Research and development process are thoroughly monitored.

Product Certification

The Pentax products are certified by the German organization oSa (Organization for the Safety of Abrasives) according to EN 13236 regulation containing all prescriptions and/or safety measures to be taken in order to prevent or reduce dangers deriving from design and use of abrasive/diamond tools.

The product traceability is guaranteed, which means that - starting from the finished blade - any step of the related production up to the powder lot can be reconstructed.

After welding, all diamond tools are tested with loads according to mentioned regulation, in order to make sure they are conform.
All these processes are periodically monitored and examined by external, independent experts and advisors.
